Neutral buildings
Climate Emergency, Conservation Area Toolkit – England, published by the Architects Climate Action Network in 2022, defines neutral buildings as buildings that: ‘…may blend into the townscape by virtue of their form, scale or materials, but due to their level of design quality, fail to make a positive contribution. Improvements to these buildings would be welcomed.’
